Computer Audio Recording Set-up Design for Small Home Studio
NOTE: THIS WILL BE DELETED: Please see my Uploads for the same video name v2. This version was one of my first uploads and portions of the wide screen format had been cut-off, so I re-formatted the video and uploaded it under the same name v2 WIDE. The new video also has a table of time contents THIS IS A FAIRLY IN DEPTH VIDEO, SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME AND AVOID JUMPING THROUGH OR ONLY WATCHING A FEW SECONDS BEFORE MOVING ON IF YOU LIKE AUDIO RECORDING When you discover a passion for recording music there is not a lot of down to earth explanations on how to set-up a small use-able computer based audio recording system for a small bedroom or home studio. Many times people think they can only afford cheap gear that gets them nowhere close to getting satisfying results. On the other end of the spectrum, interested people may find overpriced, hyped, top of the line gear unaffordable, a never ending sea of choices, and/or overly complicated to use. This sometimes makes an individual feel like there is no hope to get a decent set-up to the point of maybe even abandoning something they enjoy in life. There is a middle ground, a person just needs the know-how or the skill to be able to pick out WHAT THEY NEED FOR WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH and this is hard for a person to do on their own. One way is to ask people for guidance, but many times it is hard to trust people because they don't have to give a straight answer for one reason or another or are not personally ...

Seagate GoFlex Satellite Wireless Storage Review
Legit Reviews looked at the GoFlex Satellite from Seagate. This very innovative product combines a 500GB Hard drive, with an 802.11n access point, and Lithum Ion battery pack. You can see more details on this device here - legitreviews.com The interface is so intuitive that I never had to to look at the instructions to get up and running. This device is truly plug and play, great work Seagate! There are several things I liked about the Seagat GoFlex Satellite especially its very intuitive easy to use interface that auto categorized my content. I also appreciated that I did not have to load any software to access the GoFlex Satellite and that it worked on any wireless device that supports 802.11 connectivity. Finally, a 500 GB hard drive provides a ton of space to host your own personal multimedia cloud service. There were a few things about the Seagate GoFlex Satellite that could be improved but the good news is these can all be address with a firmware upgrade that I hear is already in the works. The first is the lack of support for playlists for your music files. This seems a bit counter intuitive for a device sporting 500GB considering how much music the GoFlex Satellite can hold. The second one is the inability to act as a wireless bridge instead of a stand alone AP which means you have to give up your internet connection while streaming from this device. For movie watching this is no big deal, but for music or documents the ability to listen to your 250GB music ...
